Pamela C. Grover, M.D. F.A.A.F.P., F.A.A.R.F.M., is a medical doctor who is Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine. Her Bachelor’s Degree is in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Grover started her training as an athletic trainer at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. During this time she also was a member of the Division II Women’s Basketball Team. She obtained her Medical Degree at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and Biochemical Sciences in 1998. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of South Florida/ Morton Plant Mease Hospital in Clearwater, Florida in 2001. She completed a Primary Care Faculty Development Fellowship at Michigan State University in 2002. She served both as a faculty physician and medical director in an underserved health clinic in Clearwater for five years. In 2006, she joined a large primary care group to focus solely on patient care. She was on the physician advisory board of this 100 doctor primary care physician group and also served as Compliance Committee Chairman. She was voted “Top Doctors” of Tampa Bay from 2006 until 2013 when she relocated to New York. Dr. Grover feels that now that she is practicing Anti-aging and Functional Medicine full time she is finally able to find and treat the true biochemical cause for patients’ problems. Through Anti-Aging Medicine she is able to use the latest research and medical technology to identify and support the bodies nutritional and hormone needs through both conventional and functional medicine. Dr. Grover utilizes testing and treatment for genetic defects, inflammation, environmental toxins, deficient hormones or iodine levels, overgrowth of candida or intestinal bacteria, or hormone imbalances. Treatment is individually tailored to the patient and includes specific dietary recommendations, vitamin, mineral or herbal supplementation and, in some cases, bio-identical hormonal support. Dr. Grover enjoys working with athletes to optimize their performance but also works with patients of all ages and all types of medical conditions.
